The clip has no real story; it is an alternation of two very different styles, which together represent the
atmosphere of loneliness and simplicity, which can be heard in the song. I wanted to make sure my video
would add to the story told in the song, not tell the story. I chose to make a music video/video clip for
the song Indigo Nights by Tamino. The clip has no real story; it is an alternation of two very different
styles, which together represent the atmosphere of loneliness and simplicity, which can be heard in the
song. I wanted to make sure my video would add to the story told in the song, not tell the story.
Colourful scenes intertwine with dark scenes where someone walks in and out of frame. The colourful
scenes were created with Ecoline in water. I had to experiment a lot with colours, movements, light, and
camera perspective. As a contrast to these colourful images, I placed the dark scenes, the outdoor shots
of a wide, dark staircase at night.
The rhythm of the change between the two styles follows the rhythm of the song.
