The starting point of this module was choosing a core value of yourself. I chose my positivity. At first I wanted to make some kind of animated film, then I thought about a picture book, but in the end I opted for a proxinoscope. It was important that the user would have to interact with the project and that it would be physical. I deliberately chose these requirenments, because it had been the red thread thouout most of my projects.
This proxinoscope expresses my love for films (after all, it is the precursor to the film) and the film, which appears through manual rotation, represents my positivity: the flower blooms when the sun shines.
