For my first Unity game, I created my first few 3D assets in Blender. It was my introduction to both game
development and 3D modeling, and while working on this project, I learned the basics of both. I quickly
discovered
how much I enjoyed 3D modeling. Each asset I made taught me something new, from shaping forms to adding
textures and
refining details. If you want to see the finished game, click here!
For my first big Blender project, I set out to learn the software better by designing a character.
However, when I reached the rigging stage, I ran into error after error, which became increasingly frustrating.
After multiple failed attempts to fix the issues, I eventually decided to step away from the project. Even
though
the character remains unfinished, this experience taught me a lot and gave me a solid foundation to improve my
Blender skills in the future.
