My name is Sofia Hoek, and I am a designer. I recently graduated with a degree in Communication and Multimedia
Design from Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda (July 2026).
Throughout the years I discovered my identity as a designer through a wide variety of projects. My work
centres on critical and interactive designs, in which I focus on the physical side of the project. For me,
nothing is too crazy, and hands-on creation is my passion, from woodworking and painting to experimenting with
electronics. I have also gained experience with tools and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Max/MSP,
Unity, Blender, Arduino, and Adobe InDesign.
I am always looking for new programmes, tools, and skills to expand my horizon and elevate my work!
